S. Korea: Stop to Military Provocative Actions Demanded

Pyongyang, August 12 (KCNA) — 43 civic organizations in south Korea, including the Citizens Solidarity for Democratic Society and the Bar Association for Democratic Society, called a press conference in Seoul on Thursday to urge the puppet authorities and the U.S. to stop all military actions escalating the tension on the Korean peninsula, according to the south Korean Yonhap News.

Speakers at the conference said that neither sanctions nor pressure can bring the DPRK to submission.
They demanded that the U.S. and south Korean authorities stop all war moves against the DPRK, Ulji Freedom Guardian joint military maneuvers soon to be staged in particular, and cancel the THAAD deployment triggering off arms race in Northeast Asia.
