Pyongyang, August 18 (KCNA) — The Workers’ Party of Korea’s line of simultaneously developing the two fronts serves as a militant banner to emerge victorious in decades-long fierce showdown with the U.S. imperialists and as a powerful treasured sword to maintain an independent stand in the revolution and construction, says Rodong Sinmun Friday in an article.
It goes on:
This is also a driving force of leaping progress and prosperity as it helps bring an epochal turn in the economic development and the improvement of people’s living standard by dint of self-reliance and self-development.
The DPRK could reliably preserve the lifeline of Juche revolution and achieve big successes in building a powerful socialist nation without any vacillation despite difficulties and trials unprecedented in history as it has held fast to the Party’s line of simultaneously developing the two fronts and bolstered up the military capability for self-defense with the nuclear force as a pivot.
The U.S. imperialists and their vassal forces are now resorting to the harshest sanctions and pressure and provocations in a bid to prevent the DPRK’s advance under the uplifted banner of the Party’s line of simultaneously developing the two fronts.
The UN “sanctions resolution” those countries without principle cooked up, yielding to the U.S. and terming the DPRK’s test-launch of ICBM, a just step for self-defense, “threat to global peace and security” is a product of the U.S. heinous moves to stifle and isolate the DPRK from A to Z. It is a wanton violation of the DPRK’s sovereignty and an all-out challenge to it.
Simultaneously pushing forward the economic construction and the building of a nuclear force ensures the eternal victory and prosperity of our party and revolution, country and nation. Steadfast is the will of the Korean army and people to accelerate the final victory in the showdown with the U.S.-led imperialists by developing strongest strategic weapons, Juche weapons, much more under the uplifted banner of the line of simultaneously developing the two fronts.
