Message of Sympathy to President of Sierra Leone

Pyongyang, August 19 (KCNA) — Kim Yong Nam, president of the Presidium of the Supreme People’s Assembly of the DPRK, on Friday sent a message of sympathy to Ernest Bai Koroma, president of the Republic of Sierra Leone, over the flooding and mudslide caused by heavy rains that claimed big casualties and huge material losses in the capital of the country.

Kim in the message expressed deep condolences and sympathy to the government and people of the country and residents in flood-hit areas.
He wished them success in their efforts to recover from the damage as early as possible and achieve the national unity and socio-economic development under the leadership of the president.
