Message of Sympathy to President of DR Congo

Pyongyang, August 22 (KCNA) — Kim Yong Nam, president of the Presidium of the Supreme People’s Assembly of the DPRK, Tuesday sent a message of sympathy to President of the Democratic Republic of Congo Joseph Kabila Kabange in connection with the fact that natural disaster caused by recent torrential rain in the northeastern area of the country claimed huge human and material losses.

The message expressed deep consolation and sympathy to the president, government and people of the country and the inhabitants in the afflicted area.
It hoped that the government and people of the Democratic Republic of Congo would eradicate the damage as early as possible and register successes in the work to achieve the stability and the socio-economic development of the country.
