S. Korean Bodies Hold Rally before U.S. Embassy

Pyongyang, August 24 (KCNA) — South Korean social organizations and political party held a rally in front of the U.S. embassy in Seoul on Aug. 21 in denunciation of the ongoing Ulji Freedom Guardian joint military drill, according to the south Korean online paper Minjok Ilbo.

They were the Central Council for National Independence and the Peaceful Reunification, the Headquarters for the Peace Treaty and the People’s Democratic Party.
The speakers said that Ulji Freedom Guardian kicked off at last, adding that it is universally known that it is the U.S. that escalates the danger of war on the Korean peninsula every year.
They said that the military exercise must be discontinued at once.
