S. Korean Organization Demands Withdrawal of THAAD

Pyongyang, August 31 (KCNA) — The People for Achieving Peace and Reunification in south Korea reportedly held the 183rd peace and disarmament rally outside the puppet Defense Ministry building on August 29, to demand the authorities withdraw the THAAD deployment, stop the joint military drill with the U.S. and abolish the military information protection agreement with Japan.

Speakers at the rally said that THAAD was defending only interests of the U.S. and Japan.
Saying that the “government” enforced the additional deployment of THAAD and was aggravating the war crisis by conducting the Ulji Freedom Guardian joint military exercises, turning a deaf ear to the popular desire, they demanded an immediate stop to the war maneuvers.
They contended that the military information protection agreement with Japan for establishing the U.S.-Japan-south Korea tripartite military alliance should be abolished.
