Pyongyang, August 31 (KCNA) ? A project to install solar panels with a capacity of 100 kW was completed on the peak of Pegae Hill as part of the work to spruce up Samjiyon County in Ryanggang Province, the DPRK.
According to a person concerned, the solar battery manufactory under Kim Il Sung University and the electric power regiment of the 216 Division finished the project in ten days.
Researchers and workers of the manufactory installed hundreds of solar panels in three days in the spirit of self-reliance despite bad conditions.
And members of the electric power regiment carried out the ground concrete tamping in a qualitative way in a short span of time to contribute to creating 100 kW solar generating capacity.
