THAAD Deployment Protested in S. Korea

Pyongyang, August 31 (KCNA) — The Kimchon Citizens Measure Committee against THAAD Deployment, the Songju Emergency Measure Committee for Defending Holy Land of Won Buddhism and four other organizations in south Korea held a press conference outside the U.S. embassy in Seoul on August 28 to protest against the moves to enforce the THAAD deployment, according to the south Korean internet paper Jaju Sibo.

Speakers declared that they would devotedly check the deployment of THADD as it is only for the U.S., gangster-like state wrecking peace in the Korean peninsula and inciting a tension and war between the south and the north.
A press release, read out at the conference, urged the south Korean chief executive to withdraw the additional deployment order without delay and reexamine the deployment from the beginning as he promised.
It appealed to all the people to come to Sosong-ri to wage the struggle against the additional THAAD deployment.
