Pullout of U.S. Forces Urged in S. Korea

Pyongyang, September 13 (KCNA) — Nineteen civic and public organizations of south Korea, including the South Headquarters of the Pan-National Alliance for Korea’s Reunification held a press conference in Seoul on Sept. 8 on the lapse of 72 years since the U.S. imperialist aggressors occupied south Korea, according to the south Korean online paper Jaju Sibo.

The speakers noted that the U.S. forces have committed crimes beyond imagination in south Korea over seven decades, stressing that they can never go together with the U.S. under the same sky.
A press release was read out at the conference.
Contending that genuine peace and national reunification can be achieved only when the U.S. forces quit south Korea, the release called on all Koreans to pool their efforts to drive out the U.S. troops and achieve the independent reunification of the country.
