S. Korean Paper Slams Authorities’ Deceptive “Apology”

Pyongyang, September 22 (KCNA) — The south Korean online paper Voice of People on Sept. 20 carried an editorial denouncing the puppet prime minister for his deceptive “apology” related to the death of peasant Paek Nam Gi.

It noted that the prime minister made an “apology to the people” on the eve of one year since Paek Nam Gi passed, but no punishment was given to the party concerned who killed the peasant and the then director of the Police Agency who is chiefly responsible for the case.
The regime let the prime minister make an “apology” for the crackdown which led to the death of Paek, but it failed to express any stand on the chairman of the Confederation of Trade Unions who was arrested and put in prison for the mere reason that he took the initiative of the all-out people’s action in which the peasant took part, it said.
