Pyongyang, September 25 (KCNA) — Artistes of the State Merited Chorus, the Moranbong Band and the Wangjaesan Art Troupe began a music and dance performance before full house at the Hamhung Grand Theatre in South Hamgyong Province on Sept. 24.
Among the audience were Kim Song Il, chairman of the South Hamgyong Provincial Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea; Kim Pong Yong, chairman of the South Hamgyong Provincial People’s Committee, and other leading officials in the province and officials, technicians and workers at major industrial establishments in the province and other working people, youth and students in Hamhung City.
The artistes gave an exciting and new performance with songs of socialist advance reflecting the courageous spirit of Juche Korea.
The performance began with the National Anthem.
Put on the stage were light music and serial songs “Oh Party, It’s Thanks to Your Care”, female solo “We Call You Father”, mixed chorus and male chorus “We Cannot Live without You”, light music “Pyongyang Is Best”, female chorus “Glory of Our Life”, female chorus and male chorus “Let’s Keep the Revolutionary Faith to the Death”, dance “Dash toward Future”, tap dance “Young Days” and other numbers.
The performers impressively represented deep reverence and trust of the service persons and the people for respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un who is demonstrating the dignity and might of Juche Korea to the world with his matchless pluck and grit and successfully translating all dreams and ideals of the people into brilliant reality.
The performance was acclaimed by the audience, evoking a lively response among them.
