Pyongyang, September 25 (KCNA) — There took place the 36th Yun I Sang Concert at the Moranbong Theatre on Monday.
Among the audience were Pak Chun Nam, minister of Culture, Hong Kyong Ho, director of the Yun I Sang Music Institute, officials concerned, creators and artistes of national art troupes, teachers and students in the field of art education, diplomatic envoys of different countries and staff members of the missions of international bodies here and other foreign guests and overseas Koreans.
The artistes of the Orchestra of the Yun I Sang Music Institute and the National Symphony Orchestra staged the concert.
In the concert which began with orchestra “Arirang”, the performers presented with refined rendition, rich voice and perfect ensemble the lyric songs composed by Yun in the early period of his activities, including symphonic poem “You Kwangju Forever,” female solo “Spinning Wheel Ballad” and piano trio “Loving Care for My Destiny”.
