S. Korean Bodies Call for Cleaning up Deep-rooted Evils and Realizing Social Reform

Pyongyang, September 26 (KCNA) — The Headquarters of Struggle for Paek Nam Gi, the Federation of Peasants Associations, the Confederation of Trade Unions and other civic and social organizations in south Korea reportedly held rallies in Seoul on Sept. 23, the first death anniversary of Paek who was killed due to the violent repression of the fascist regime.

They called for the eradication of deep-seated evils and the social reform.
Recalling that Paek struggled against the rice market opening, speakers at the rallies declared that they would resume the candlelight action if the regime refuses to reform the agricultural policy.
