S. Korea: Probe into Case of Conservatives’ Control over Press Urged

Pyongyang, September 29 (KCNA) — The “Citizens Action for Getting ‘KBS’, ‘MBC’ to Work Properly”, consisting of 238 civic and public organizations in south Korea, reportedly held a press conference in Seoul on September 26 at which it demanded investigation into the conservative group’s control over the press.

Speakers noted that the wrongdoings conducted by the Intelligence Service (IS) to control the press as a whole during the regimes of Lee Myung Bak and Park Geun Hye have been revealed one after another.
They contended that all the schemes made by the IS to control the press during the Lee and Park regimes should be investigated strictly and those involved should be punished.
