Pyongyang, September 30 (KCNA) — The People’s Action for Peace against War of south Korea, composed of 65 organizations of various circles, held a press conference in Seoul on Wednesday to denounce the U.S. and the regime for posing military threats and ramping up sanctions against the DPRK.
Noting the danger of war is prevailing on the Korean peninsula due to Trump’s provocative remarks, speakers there criticized the regime for taking the lead in the U.S. “sanctions” racket against the north.
They said Trump’s bellicose remarks quenched the desire of the south Korean candlelight demonstrators for peace on the Korean peninsula.
The U.S. embassy should be dismantled and the U.S. troops pulled out as Trump is forcing south Korea to buy lethal weapons and bringing the dark clouds of war to it, they contended.
Members of the South Side Committee for Implementing June 15 Joint Declaration and the Solidarity Actions for Conclusion of Peace Treaty held a rally at the Kwanghwamun Plaza that day.
They scathingly censured Trump’s rubbish and demanded the withdrawal of THAAD and conclusion of a peace treaty.
