Deployment of American Strategic Assets Rejected in S. Korea

Pyongyang, October 2 (KCNA) — The south Korean online paper Minjok Ilbo on September 29 posted an editorial rejecting the scheme of the U.S. imperialists and the puppet authorities to deploy American strategic assets in south Korea for invasion of the north.

The editorial said that a plan for deploying F-22s, F-35Bs and B-1B and other strategic assets is under discussion and, in particular, the authorities asserted that they should include a nuclear submarine.
It stressed that the present “government” should withdraw the plan and take to the road of national cooperation.
