Equilibrium of Force Is Realistic Way for Defending Peace: Rodong Sinmun

Pyongyang, October 2 (KCNA) — Rodong Sinmun Monday stresses in an article that imbalance of force was created in many regions of the world and it has become a factor of spawning domination, interference and war.

Saying the world history of wars is a history in which the powerful dominationist states invaded weak countries, the article goes on:
Therefore, a weak country can not defend its sovereignty and dignity and its people’s security.
The imperialists and dominationists dare not to ignite a war against those countries with equal force because the war may cause their own ruin.
That’s why a war does not break out among nuclear weapons states.
If the DPRK had not opted for access to nuclear weapons against the U.S. nuclear threat and blackmail in time, the Korean Peninsula would have been turned into a theatre of war again.
The DPRK’s final goal is to ensure the equilibrium of force with the U.S. so that the latter’s chief executives can not dare to talk about military option against the former.
Nuclear deterrent of the DPRK provided by dint of self-reliance and self-development is growing stronger with passage of time, exerting great influence on the balance of force in Northeast Asia and the rest of the world.
The wicked design of the U.S. to occupy the DPRK and grasp the vast region of Eurasia with the Korean Peninsula as a springboard is being frustrated by the DPRK’s powerful nuclear deterrence.
Its force does never work on the DPRK. This is proved by the present reality.
The world will clearly see how the DPRK destroys the tyrannical nukes and defends peace.
