S. Korea: Repeal of Part-time Job in Educational Field Urged

Pyongyang, October 14 (KCNA) — According to the south Korean online newspaper OhmyNews, the Solidarity Meeting for School Part-time Jobs launched a hunger strike outside the Seoul City Education Office on September 27 in demand of an end to discrimination against part-time workers.

The organization called for taking measures such as cancel of low-salary and liquidation of salary distinction.
In this regard, the Party of Justice issued a commentary on October 10 urging the ministry of Education and the Seoul City Education Office to accept the organization’s demand.
