Pyongyang, October 15 (KCNA) — The State Merited Chorus, the Moranbong Band and the Wangjaesan Art Troupe of the DPRK gave their music and dance performances in Sinuiju of North Phyongan Province from Oct. 4 to 14.
The performance were enjoyed by workers and peasants of major industrial establishments and co-op farms in the province, members of shock brigade involved in important projects, war veterans, inhabitants from all walks of life and youth and students.
Touching the heartstrings of the audiences were male solo and chorus “Song Dedicated to Mother Party” represented by artistes of the State Merited Chorus.
Orchestra and male chorus “We’ll Travel One Road Forever” and “We Will Go along Road of Loyalty” and other numbers hardened the will of the people in North Phyongan Province to follow the party forever.
In such numbers as light music and serial songs “Oh Party, It’s Thanks to Your Care” and female solo “We Call You Father”, the artistes of the Moranbong Band sang highly of the Korean people’s reverence for the Workers’ Party of Korea which provided the socialist flower garden and has taken warm care of their life.
Songs including “Changsong Today” added to the patriotic zeal of the working people of all social standings in North Phyongan Province to build a paradise for the people with their own efforts.
Artistes of the Wangjaesan Art Troupe presented graceful and beautiful dances like “Dash toward Future” and tap dance “Young Days” reflecting the stirring reality of the country.
The audiences sang and danced together with the performers and mounted the stage with bouquets at the end of each piece to congratulate the performers on their successful performance.
The audiences expressed their excitement after the performance was over.
