Pyongyang, October 16 (KCNA) — The 28th National Exhibition of Consumer Goods opened with due ceremony at the Pyongyang Underground Shop on Monday.
Presented to it are more than 80 000 consumer goods of 2 000 varieties produced at light industrial factories and daily necessity production units under ministries and national institutions.
During the exhibition there will be visits to such factories as Rangnang Disabled Soldiers’ Essential Plastic Goods Factory, workshop on new technologies and registration of February 2 goods.
Among those present at the opening ceremony were Vice-Premier Ri Ju O, Jo Yong Chol, minister of Food and Consumer Goods Industries, and officials concerned.
The exhibition will last till Oct. 20.
