Sanctions Are Incompatible with Dialogue: Rodong Sinmun

Pyongyang, October 16 (KCNA) — Rodong Sinmun in an article Monday condemns the south Korean puppet forces for crying out again for “simultaneously pushing ahead with the sanctions and pressure and the dialogue” under the pretext of “settlement of the north’s nuclear issue”, zealously following the Trump group’s vicious hostile policy towards the DPRK.

The article goes on:
This is nothing but nonsense of confrontational fanatics not understanding the strategic position of the DPRK which has access to even H-bomb and the changed reality.
Sanctions are incompatible with dialogue.
The theory of “simultaneously pushing ahead with the sanctions and pressure and the dialogue” touted by the puppet forces is a replica of the vicious policy towards the DPRK billed war maniac Trump’s “maximum pressure and engagement”.
The puppet forces are foolish enough to follow the policy of the master which is the height of Yankee arrogance and double-dealing and to regard it as the key to the issue.
They seek dialogue and contact aimed at disarming the DPRK. It is a daydream.
The DPRK is bolstering up a powerful war deterrent for the defense of the state. This is an irretrievable and essential, strategic option.
The group of traitors can never be pardoned as they are running amuck to wrest the nuclear treasured sword from the DPRK, blindly toeing the line of their American master, failing to understand how the peace on the Korean peninsula has been defended.
It is disgusting for the present puppet ruling forces of south Korea to talk about north-south dialogue while currying favor with the old lunatic Trump who cried out for “destroying” the Korean nation, and repeating the crimes of the conservatives who got frantic with nuclear war move against the north with the back of foreign forces.
