S. Korea: Press Conferences Held in Major Cities against North-targeted War Drills

Pyongyang, October 19 (KCNA) — The People’s Action for Peace against War in south Korea called a news conference in Seoul on Oct. 16 to demand a halt to the south Korea-U.S. joint naval drill and repeal of the hostile policy towards the DPRK, according to the south Korean online paper Thongil News.

Speakers charged that the join naval drill aimed at preemptive attack on the DPRK is a dangerous military threat.
They declared that they would stage protest actions during the military exercises.
Similar conferences were simultaneously held in Pusan, Kwangju, Taegu and other areas of south Korea.
