DPRK’s Holidays in October Celebrated at Its Missions Abroad

Pyongyang, October 24 (KCNA) — Celebrations took place at the DPRK missions in Cuba, Cambodia and Equatorial Guinea on Oct. 3-10 to mark the 20th anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il’s election as general secretary of the Workers’ Party of Korea, its 72nd birthday and the 91st anniversary of the formation of the Down-with-Imperialism Union.

Displayed at the events were photos showing the exploits of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il and the revolutionary activities of respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un.
There were also photos introducing the reality of the DPRK.
The president of the Khmer Democratic Party of Cambodia noted that the WPK, founded and developed by Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il, is making a series of thumping successes in the struggle to ensure peace and security on the Korean peninsula and build a prosperous and powerful country under the leadership of Kim Jong Un.
The vice-director of the International Department of the Democratic Party of Equatorial Guinea and other speakers said that they extended support and solidarity to the cause of justice of the ever-victorious WPK, recalling that it has led the struggle of the Korean army and people along the road of glory for many years since its birth.
