Kyongwon, November 1 (KCNA) — Respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un sent a birthday spread to So Ok Ju residing in Anwon-ri, Kyongwon County on her 100th birthday.
The centenarian, who was born into a poor peasant family before the liberation of the country, keenly experienced the grief of being a member of the stateless nation, maltreated and humiliated under the colonial rule by the Japanese imperialists
It was not until President Kim Il Sung liberated the once usurped country that she could live a genuine life and worked honestly as an agricultural worker. She continued working even in retirement.
