Action against Evils in Education Launched in S. Korea

Pyongyang, November 4 (KCNA) — Members of the Teachers Union in south Korea Wednesday went on a hunger strike around Chongwadae in demand of the withdrawal of the decision on outlawing the union and combating of evils in the field of education, according to the south Korean newspaper Nodong and Segye.

In a press release they declared they would struggle to the last, noting that they didn’t think they would stage hair-cutting and stay-in strikes under the present regime.
