Unjon, November 14 (KCNA) — Respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un sent a birthday spread to Kim Yong Hwa, a woman centenarian living in Samkwang-ri, Unjon County of North Phyongan Province.
She was born into a poor peasant family. She bitterly experienced the grief of being a member of the stateless nation before the liberation of the country.
After the liberation she was provided with her own fertile land thanks to President Kim Il Sung and could live a worthy life as a master of the land and the country. She took part in the plow woman movement and tangibly contributed to increasing the cereal production as the widow of a fallen solider during the Fatherland Liberation War.
She devotedly worked to do her bit as the one who is responsible for the granary of the country. She also donated tens of tons of grains for the sake of the country.
