Cultivation of “Aegukphul” Brisk in DPRK

Pyongyang, December 6 (KCNA) — The DPRK has made achievements in cultivating “Aegukphul”, a high-yielding and nutritive feed crop, on a nationwide scale.

Its seedlings have been already transplanted to different parts of the country.
Pyongyang City expanded its cultivation area and produced enough seedlings by putting its cultivation on a scientific basis.
North Phyongan Province organized passing-on-technique conferences on biological characters of “Aegukphul” and sci-tech problems arising in its cultivation.
Kangwon Province and other provinces have also produced many seedlings by fertilizing and tending its growing areas in a scientific way.
And due measures have been taken for the safekeeping of seedlings in winter.
