Pyongyang, December 8 (KCNA) — More than 370,000 people from at least 3,780 units in the DPRK have visited the Phyongchon Revolutionary Site for the past two years after its renovation.
The site is where on Dec. 12, Juche 37 (1948), President Kim Il Sung test-fired a submachine gun manufactured by the Korean working class for the first time. It is associated with the feats of the peerlessly great persons who laid a solid foundation for the independent defense industry, paving an untrodden thorny path.
Before the mosaic depicting the images of the President and leader Kim Jong Il and anti-Japanese war heroine Kim Jong Suk erected at the site, its visitors looked back with deep emotion on their whole life dedicated to boosting the military capability of the country.
