Application of Tuition Waiver Program to Korean Schools Demanded in Japan

Pyongyang, December 10 (KCNA) — A Friday action demanding the application of tuition waiver program to Korean schools in Japan was staged in Tokyo on Dec. 1.

It was attended by students of the Korean University and Korean high schools, Koreans in Japan and Japanese personages.
Speakers there expressed their will to carry on their struggle of solidarity with Koreans in Japan, Japanese personages and south Koreans to secure the rights to education of the students of Korean schools in the next year, too.
That day the Citizens’ Meeting for Protecting Campus and Children of south Korea handed a written request to a related official of the Japan Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology in demand of application of the tuition waiver program to the Korean schools.
