S. Korean Paper Slashes Japan for Fanning up War Crisis

Pyongyang, December 14 (KCNA) — The south Korean newspaper Herald Economy on Dec. 9 carried an article denouncing the Japanese reactionaries’ moves to secure the ability to carry out preemptive attack by intentionally fanning up the war crisis.

The article charged that the Japanese government is enforcing the acceleration of the introduction of various kinds of missiles, despite the objection from the opposition forces and organizations, allegedly to cope with the “nuclear and missile threat” from the DPRK.
It revealed that Japan included the introduction of various kinds of missiles such as long-range air-to-surface missiles in the 2018 budget.
It pointed out that Japan fanned up war crisis by carrying out the drill simulating the “north’s armed attack” for the first time in several regions last month and has planned to conduct an evacuation drill of citizens early next year.
