Pyongyang, December 27 (KCNA) — Foreign media featured articles from December 14 to 20 to observe the 100th birth anniversary of the anti-Japanese war heroine Kim Jong Suk.
Zebri Deve, an online newspaper of Khabarovsk Territory of Russia, and its internet homepage DPRK Today featured articles under such titles as “The DPRK will mark the 100th birth anniversary of Kim Jong Suk, the anti-Japanese war heroine and the mother of the revolution” and “Anti-Japanese War Heroine Kim Jong Suk”, illustrated with her photo and an art work depicting her.
The Nigerian National Committee for the Study of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism posted an article titled “100th birth anniversary of Kim Jong Suk”, which said:
History recorded many famous women who contributed to progress and prosperity of their nations and countries but there was no such woman political activist as Kim Jong Suk who dedicated her all to the freedom and happiness of the people.
The Kim Jong Il Library of Ecuador and the Juche Youth Group in Ecuador posted an article titled “Patriotic Life, on the occasion of the 100th birth anniversary of the anti-Japanese war heroine Kim Jong Suk”, illustrated with an art work depicting her.
The African Regional Committee for Friendship and Solidarity with the Korean People headquartered in Nigeria, in an article titled “Legendary woman commander of guerillas” posted on its website, praised her as prominent woman revolutionary of the Korean nation and the woman commander who staged an anti-Japanese guerilla struggle for many years.
The noble life of the anti-Japanese war heroine and legendary woman guerilla commander will always be remembered by not only the Korean people but also other progressive peoples in the world, the article stressed.
