Pyongyang, January 12 (KCNA) — A candlelight rally was reportedly held in Kimchon City, North Kyongsang Province on Jan. 7 to declare a struggle for the withdrawal of illegally-deployed THAAD.
Taking part in it were members of civic and trade unions and inhabitants in Kimchon City and Songju County.
Speakers at the rally called for a concerted action to have THAAD withdrawn this year without fail.
A resolution, read out there, stressed that the action for withdrawal of THAAD is a struggle for independence and life and for peace in the Korean Peninsula and Northeast Asia and the rest of the world.
