S. Korean Organizations Denounce Authorities

Pyongyang, January 13 (KCNA) — The Council for the Solution of the Issue of the Volunteers Corps, the Foundation for Preserving Justice for the Settlement of the Issue of the Sexual Slavery and the Study Society on Comfort Women for the Imperial Japanese Army in south Korea released a joint statement on Tuesday to denounce the authorities for having not urged the Japanese government to take the legal responsibility for the sexual slavery, according to the south Korean online newspaper Jaju Sibo.

The statement said that the “government” made public a settlement orientation in the wake of the report on the review of the “agreement” on the sexual slavery issue in 2015.
Saying that, as shown in the report, the “agreement” is unreasonable, it denounced the “government” for having not yet demanded the legal responsibility for the crime from the Japanese government.
