Pyongyang, January 31 (KCNA) — Football schools are to be established in Pyongyang and each province (municipality) of the DPRK.
According to Jang Chol Jun, department director of the DPRK Football Association, it aims to bring up more reserve footballers helpful to the development of football technique in the country.
The schools will offer two-year primary, three-year junior and three-year secondary courses which put the main stress on the education in basic subjects and theory on football and training of practical skills.
Pyongyang City and each province (municipality) are paying deep attention to ensuring good educational condition and circumstances for the schools.
The football schools will open on April 1.
