Pyongyang, February 7 (KCNA) — A DPRK National Olympic Committee delegation led by Kim Il Guk, minister of Physical Culture and Sports who is chairman of the DPRK Olympic Committee, left here on Wednesday to take part in the 23rd Winter Olympics due in south Korea.
A cheering group, a Taekwon-do demonstration group and a press corps of the DPRK left together with the delegation.
After arriving in Kaesong, the delegation and groups and corps headed for the south side’s area at around 9 o’clock.
On the same day, the DPRK National Olympic Committee delegation arrived in Phyongchang of south Korea while its cheering group, Taekwon-do demonstration group and press corps arrived in Rinje.
Earlier, the DPRK players team arrived in south Korea to take part in the Winter Olympics. It is conducting training in Kangrung, Phyongchang, etc.
