Pyongyang, February 7 (KCNA) — The Workers’ Art Group of the Central Committee of the General Federation of Trade Unions of Korea (GFTUK) Tuesday gave a performance at the Central Hall of Workers to mark Feb. 8, the birthday of the Korean People’s Army.
Put on the stage were colorful numbers including chorus “Cantata to Marshal Kim Il Sung” and “Song of the Korean People’s Army”, female quartet “Train to the Front” and male solo and pangchang “Appearance of Korea”.
The performers sang high praises of the feats of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il in army building.
Narration and mixed quartet “We Cannot Live without You” mesmerized the audience as it truthfully represented the personality of respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un as the great man.
Also staged were a series of songs like “Tell the Love for Soldiers” describing the spirit of a-match-for-a-hundred fighters and their ardent love for the homeland.
Instrumental music and song “We Will Go to Mt Paektu”, “Let’s Keep the Revolutionary Faith to the Death” and other numbers vividly depicted the faith and will of the working class and members of the trade unions to add eternal luster to the exploits of the great leaders in army building and faithfully support the Party’s line of simultaneously developing the two fronts.
Among the audience were officials concerned, officials of the trade unions, workers and trade union members.
