Pyongyang, February 8 (KCNA) — Wreaths were laid at the statues and cemeteries and tombs of martyrs and memorial towers for the fallen soldiers of the Korean People’s Army (KPA) across the country on Thursday, on the occasion of the 70th founding anniversary of the KPA.
Attending the wreath-laying ceremonies were officials of local party and power organs, working people’s organizations, men and officers of the KPA and the Korean People’s Internal Security Forces, working people and school youth and children.
Placed there were wreaths in the names of the local party and power organs, working people’s organizations, units of the KPA and the Korean People’s Internal Security Forces, industrial establishments, farms and other units, together with bouquets and flowers.
The participants paid a silent tribute to the martyrs.
