KPA Song and Dance Ensemble Gives Performance

Pyongyang, February 9 (KCNA) — The Korean People’s Army Song and Dance Ensemble gave a music and dance performance at the April 25 House of Culture Thursday in celebration of the 70th founding anniversary of the KPA.

Kim Jong Gak, Ri Myong Su, Pak Yong Sik and Ri Yong Gil and other officials of armed forces organs watched the performance.
Enjoying it were senior party and government officials Pak Kwang Ho, Choe Pu Il and Jong Kyong Thaek, and officials of the Party Central Committee, ministries and national institutions and officials and labor innovators of institutions and industrial establishments in Pyongyang.
Invited to the performance were overseas compatriots, representatives and military attaches of foreign embassies here and representatives of international bodies here and their spouses and other foreign guests.
Put on the stage of the performance, which began with chorus “Song of the Korean People’s Army”, were such numbers as choruses “Cantata to Marshal Kim Il Sung” and “Long Live the Great Songun Brilliant Commander”.
Orchestra “Look at Us,” etc. revved up the mood of the performance. Those numbers showed the militant spirit, optimism and comradeship of the service personnel who have grown up to be a-match-for-a-hundred fighters under the care of the illustrious commanders.
The performance was acclaimed by the audience as it demonstrated the spirit and might of the invincible KPA.
