Pyongyang, February 12 (KCNA) — An art troupe of the DPRK led by Kwon Hyok Bong, department director of the Ministry of Culture, and Hyon Song Wol, head of the Samjiyon Orchestra, came back here on Monday after successfully completing its program of congratulatory performances for the 23rd Winter Olympics.
The troupe left Seoul Monday and came back via Kaesong around 11:00.
It was greeted by senior officials of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea including Kim Yo Jong, first vice department director of the C.C., the WPK, and officials of the Ministry of Culture.
The performances given by it in Kangrung and Seoul of south Korea before full houses in celebration of the 23rd Winter Olympics deeply impressed the fellow countrymen aspiring after the national reconciliation and unity, evoking lively response among the people from all walks of life.
