Pyongyang, March 5 (KCNA) — More than 1 000 south Koreans from all walks of life held a demonstration in the Tapgol Park of Seoul on Mar. 1, the 99th anniversary of the March First Popular Uprising, to demand the Japanese government make an apology and reparation for its past aggression, according to the south Korean online paper Voice of People.
Taking part in the demo were inhabitants from Seoul, Pusan, Ryosu, Jindo, Kwangyang and other parts of south Korea.
Arriving at the statue of girl sexual slave near the Japanese embassy in Seoul, the demonstrators chanted slogans more loudly and urged the Japanese authorities to make an official apology and reparation for the past crimes.
Then they continued to march to the U.S. embassy and the Kwanghwamun plaza.
