S. Korean Organization Pledges to Fight for Peace on Korean Peninsula

Pyongyang, March 7 (KCNA) — The People for Achieving Peace and Reunification of south Korea reportedly held the 24th general meeting of its operation committee in Seoul on March 3 and vowed to fight to remove the danger of a nuclear war from the Korean peninsula and to realize peace.

Speakers at the meeting said that the important task for the progressive forces is to fight for the withdrawal of THAAD, a stop to the building of triangular military alliance among the U.S., Japan and south Korea and the removal of the danger of a nuclear war.
The biggest victims to the national division are workers, they said, calling on the workers to actively turn out in the struggle for the conclusion of the DPRK-U.S. peace treaty.
