Pyongyang, June 19 (KCNA) — The application of acoustic building materials have been extended in the DPRK.
Among them are sound-reflecting plate for stage effects, sound-absorbing ornamental wooden board and sound-absorbing ceiling fiberboard and sound-absorbing and soundproofing products made with light burned magnesia cement.
Such products have been applied to the Moranbong Theatre, Music Hall of Kim Won Gyun University of Music, etc.
The musical performance without sound facilities is possible in the place enclosed with sound-reflecting plates.
The sound-absorbing ornamental wooden board can be used in the place with necessities of high sound effects like sound correctness and no noise.
The sound-absorbing ceiling fiberboard is applicable to indoor stadiums and machine room as building fixtures with interior decorative effects.
Those products were highly appreciated at the national exhibition of sci-tech achievements in the fields of furniture, fittings and acoustic building materials held on the theme of “Juche-oriented production, diversification, versatility and quality improvement of furniture, fittings and acoustic building materials”.
