Pyongyang, June 27 (KCNA) — A Nordic seminar on the Juche idea for “The cause of independence in north Europe” took place in Finland on June 16.
On display at the venue of the seminar were works of President Kim Il Sung, leader Kim Jong Il and the respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un and books on the praiseworthy reality of the DPRK.
Juha Kieksy, deputy director-general of the European Society for the Study of the Juche Idea and chairman of the Finnish National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea, made a report and then several figures made speeches at the seminar.
The reporter and speakers said that the seminar was more significant as it was held at a time when the whole world was excited to hear the news of the historic first DPRK-U.S. summit meeting and talks.
They praised Kim Jong Un for having made a great contribution to ensuring peace and security in the Korean peninsula and the region and the rest of the world.
They stressed that the Juche idea founded by Kim Il Sung and the principle of independence in politics, self-support in the economy and self-reliance in national defence based on it serve as a starting point for building an independent society where the popular masses are provided with genuine democratic rights.
They referred to the facts that Kim Jong Il reliably defended the dignity and sovereignty of the country and nation, smashing all sorts of challenges with his resolute independent politics and that the DPRK is more fully demonstrating its dignity as a powerful country under the guidance of Kim Jong Un.
They expressed their resolve to intensify the study and dissemination of the peerlessly great men’s works.
A letter to Kim Jong Un was adopted at the seminar.
