Special Envoy of Swedish Government Leaves

Pyongyang, June 28 (KCNA) — Kent Rolf Magnus Harstedt, a special envoy of the Swedish government, and his party left here for home on Thursday.

During the visit, the special envoy and his party paid courtesy calls on Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the DPRK Supreme People’s Assembly Ri Su Yong, who is vice-chairman of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, and Foreign Minister Ri Yong Ho.
Discussed at their talks was the issue of further developing the relations between the two countries in different fields. And exchanged were opinions on the recent situation of the Korean Peninsula.
