Victims of RPR Rebuilding Case Found Innocent in S. Korea

Pyongyang, June 28 (KCNA) — According to the south Korean MBC on Wednesday, personages who had been in prison after being involved in a case of rebuilding the Revolutionary Party for Reunification were given a judgment of acquittal.

The case was fabricated by traitor Park Chung-Hee to prolong his “yusin” dictatorial regime.
In September 1979 a lot of people were sentenced to life imprisonment after being branded as those involved in the “case to rebuild the party on the directives of the north”.
The Seoul High Court issued a judgment of acquittal for five persons, contending that the confessions an investigation body forced on them after having illegally detained them can not be considered as testimonies.
