Pyongyang, July 3 (KCNA) — Pak Pong Ju, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, vice-chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK and premier of the Cabinet, inspected the Sungri Motor Complex and the Jenam Coal Mine under the Tokchon Area Coal-Mining Complex.
Acquainting himself with motor production, the premier encouraged the officials and workers who are devoting all their creative wisdom and enthusiasm to attaining the militant goals set forth by the Party.
At a consultative meeting held on the spot, steps were taken to solve the issues arising in developing new-type trucks in our own way.
Going round the Jenam Coal Mine, Pak discussed the issues arising in producing in a larger quantity coal badly needed for different sectors of the national economy and making relevant units supply coal mining equipment and materials satisfactorily.
Earlier, he inspected the Pukchang Thermal Power Complex and the Pyongyang Vegetable Science Institute to discuss measures for putting power generation on a normal footing and developing the technique of hydroponics in keeping with the trend of the worldwide development in urban agriculture.
