Pyongyang, July 5 (KCNA) — A symposium of workers and members of the trade union on the virtue of President Kim Il Sung took place at the Central Hall of Workers on Thursday with the approach of the 24th anniversary of his demise.
At the symposium, speakers referred to the revolutionary exploits and noble virtue of Kim Il Sung who dedicated all his life to the country, the revolution and the people’s happiness and put forward the Korean working class as the eldest son of the country and personally guided them.
Jon Ok Hwa, a weaver of the Pyongyang Kim Jong Suk Textile Mill, said that she grew into a labor hero known across the country under the loving care of Kim Il Sung.
Ri Sung Gwon, chairman of the trade union committee at the Ministry of Railways, talked about the leadership exploits of Kim Il Sung who made a new history of railway electrification.
Pak Ho Bom, chairman of the primary trade union committee at the Central Mining Research Institute under the State Academy of Sciences, referred to the noble personality of Kim Il Sung who put forward his father, an ordinary scientist, as a hero.
The speakers expressed their resolve to devote their all to the struggle for bringing earlier the final victory of the revolutionary cause of Juche, saying that Kim Il Sung’s loving care is being steadily carried forward by the respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un.
Attending the symposium were Ju Yong Gil, chairman of the Central Committee of the General Federation of Trade Unions of Korea, trade union officials and members and workers.
