Talks of Inter-Korean Panel for Cooperation in Forestry

Pyongyang, July 5 (KCNA) — Talks of inter-Korean panel for cooperation in forest took place at the “House of Peace” in the south side portion of Panmunjom on Wednesday, under the agreement of the north-south high-level talks for the implementation of the historic Panmunjom Declaration.

Present there were the north side’s delegation led by Kim Song Jun, vice director-general of the General Bureau of Forest under the Ministry of Land and Environment Protection, and the south side’s delegation with Ryu Kwang Su, vice-director of the Forestry Administration, as chief delegate.
At the talks both sides discussed the practical issues arising in north-south cooperation in forest and adopted a joint press release.
