S. Korean Organizations Denounce Japanese Authorities for Their Human Rights Abuses

Pyongyang, July 6 (KCNA) — The South Side Committee for Implementing the June 15 Joint Declaration and 223 other civic and social organizations in south Korea held a press conference before the Japanese embassy in Seoul on July 3 to condemn the Japanese authorities for committing human rights abuses against Korean students in Japan, according to the south Koran online newspaper Tongil News.

The speakers charged that the Japanese customs authorities seized all the belongings such as the souvenirs of the students of Kobe Korean High School when they arrived in Japan on June 28 after visiting the north.
A press release issued there said that with nothing can they justify the discrimination against the Korean students in Japan.
