S. Korea: Probe into Truth behind Scandal in Jurisdiction Urged

Pyongyang, July 7 (KCNA) — The Taejon movement headquarters for achieving people’s rights and eradicating evils in south Korea reportedly held a press conference on Thursday outside the building of the Taejon district court, where it urged the regime to probe truth behind the recently disclosed scandal in jurisdiction and punish the chief culprit.

It has been fully disclosed that Ryang Sung Thae was behind the high-profile scandals of Park Geun Hye and Choe Sun Sil which angered the public and caused the 17 million people’s candlelight demonstration as he legally backed Park and Choe, the organization pointed out in a press release.
Due to unjust judgments by the Supreme Court, many people suffered a lot and even abandoned their lives, it noted.
The public candlelight demonstration is still going on and the struggle for rooting out evils has entered a new phase, the organization said, urging the regime to detain Ryang, probe truth behind his evil deeds, punish him, reinstate the victims and reform the court.
